I wanted to share what happens when super professionals install an additional battery for your Nissan Leaf cheap and real quick. Well, certainly nothing good.
I’d suggest choosing carefully whom you trust such a delicate job, or you may end up in a quite unpleasant situation, such as presented in this video.

And after a year they failed and swelled up.
I tried contacting him by email several times asking for help with repair and no response.
I also bought the extra bms and special charger he sold and set it up exactly as he told me to.
Searching the net for a replacement I found this forum post.
Just happy mine didn’t catch on fire.
That’s why I posted. More and more people who bought their Leafs quite some time ago think about a battery upgrade. There are a lot of scammers these days who promise you to install additional battery pack cheap and quick and people trust them.
But they do not even imagine what sad consequences this can lead to.
