Purchased NEV that has been sitting in a climate controlled warehouse for a decade. Put the first battery on my “smart” charger. The photo shows where we are @ after 10 hours on the charger.
No issues with battery swelling. Each individual battery was around 1.72 volts.
For some reason I’m getting the impression you are surprised by this.
Have you dated these batteries?
Jan 2011 is the date in the batteries. Not surprised, just attempting to charge to justify to spouse to purchase replacement batteries if they fail to take a charge.
