I recently acquired a 2002 e2. It did not come with batteries… My question is, can I hook up just one 12 volt battery to see if everything else works before I drop $700 on 6 batteries? Any info will help, thanks.
hi Krazie welcome… I just drive my GEM… but know you’ll have to have all the batteries to see if everything works… you’ll also need to have deep cycle batteries… not a car battery… do you have a manual… think there is one posted

Thank you very much Bob. That’s kinda what I thought the answer was. As far as the batteries go I do understand that they have to be deep cycle. Thanks again
