Are you aware that Gem frames are made from Aluminum.
Yeah, I know aluminum is rather resistant to corrosion but the steel bolts and any other fastener are not and will cause galvanic corrosion of the aluminum. I know that most people probably won’t have to worry about it but you should see mine, I see frame repairs in my future.
