2006 gem

Hi,
I have a 2006 GEM that is still running after multiple battery changes.
I now have an oil leak on the garage floor under the left front tire .
Any ideas?!

It could be a leaking differential. There is also a vent on the differential. It could also possibly be brake fluid. Smell it to be sure.
