Looking for a bit of direction on 6k mile 2001 Gem. Issue with all sorts of noise ,grinding,squeeling,thinking.Replaced differential,new bearings in motor,new half shafts from TheThing Shop in Az.Checked brake drums and shoes, almost want to think the bearings are bad on the passenger shaft.Thanks
Wheel bearings. Jack up car and wiggle the wheels. This a common complaint.
Before you spend money on new bearings I would encourage you to do the disc brake upgrade. Comes with new hubs/bearings as well as making the cart stop on a dime. Best upgrade I have done.
That was the issue, wheel bearings. The Thing shop was the source for the new bearing,backing plate ,thanks for the suggestion.
