The ads are out of control on this site, but easily managed.
Install the browser add on uBlock or switch to Thorium browser (its integrated and has some other tweaks). Thorium is faster than chrome too btw.
On an android phone or tablet, use Chromite browser. There is no Thorium browser for phones or tablets last time I checked. uBlock also doesn’t run on phones/tablets. The only ad-blocker that worked on a phone / tablet for this site was a paid app, it worked really well but was expensive (billed monthly but came out to about $150 / year)
Thorium, Chromite and uBlock are free to use for individuals.
Thorium and Chrome can sync between each other (bookmarks, passwords etc).
Chromite does not. What I do on my phone is use Chromite just for the PITA sites like this one
iOS and Apple Mac users, I don’t have any advice at the present time. I should be getting my hands on an iPad (previous generation) soon though.
