Site ads and blocking

Dave, on a PC/Mac the AdBlock+ browser extension / add-on with the 5 or so optional block lists knock out all the ads. The free browser extension is sufficient to do the job, the paid one isn’t necessary. Most common browsers are supported.

On a phone or tablet its different, you’d have to switch over to their browser, even if you are using Chrome. There is nothing wrong with the ad block + browser, it’s just that syncing to another browser can be a pain. Most corporations are married to explorer or chrome at this point as is most of the populus. If one can deintegrate then it’s not too bad. If not then there are paid solutions, like Total Ad Block - which i use and its not cheap, but its pretty damn wonderful, ads just don’t exist with it. Ad Block + sometimes leaves white space where the ad used to be, Total Ad Block its like the ad never existed.

Reintegration an be a tough one though, look what happened to Flynn…
