Need a Gem mechanic in/near Gulf Coast Alabama

I have a 2015 Gem e2 with an error code 51. I have the factory manual (courtesy of Rodney) however I am not proficient in diagnosing the root cause of the error code. The local Gem dealer (Terry Thompson Chev) is seriously backed up, has around 6/8 gems awaiting service and they tell me 2 months or so before they could look at it. Id really like to find an option to a car dealership to diagnose this issue. I’m in Daphne AL, on the Gulf Coast and I could trailer this to someone say within 100 miles if possible for assistance.
Anybody have any ideas? You could call me at 251 776 0475 or email Mikemail@bellsouth.net

Thanks, Mike

Here is the Polaris GEM site service locater website: https://www.polaris.com/en-us/gem-electric-car/dealer-locator#q=florida%2C+USA

Most of us work on our own GEM cars as it’s hard to find a good repair facility that has the knowledge and experienced techs to work on GEM cars. The issue can turn into a much bigger problem with technician induced problems that turns into more time & labor that ultimately ends up costing you more money $$.

What ever you do, I would ask them if they have trained technicians, how many years experience the tech has working on GEMs and can they fix it while you wait? These are a few dealer/service locations that’s listed:

Of course it could be you just need to charge up each battery individually. Use a voltmeter set to DC volts. Check from plus + to _ minus terminals on controller. These are the main terminals that supply power to control thru main fuse, main contactor or pre-charge circuit.

It must read a battery voltage of 68 volts to clear.
