Really? I can see the EV impact but renewable energy is currently very expensive - just ask tax payers in the UK!

Unless they build some more Nuke plants I think oil will have a market. Have to have something to generate the electricity for all these electric cars.

Personally I don’t think oil is dead and buried just yet and will be around for some time to come. Will it be as popular as it has been - probably not as new technology and greater efficiencies boost renewables in the longer term. Perhaps we should be focusing on the cleaner air which EVs bring with them - we really do underestimate the pollution in the air we breathe every day,
