Over the last few months we have seen a whole range of concept cars introduced at car shows around the world. How many concept cars actually make it into mass production?
I would say that generally speaking very few would make it into mass production and therefore a showroom round the corner. Concept cars are generally a way for companies to show off what they can do, their way of saying ‘Look at us! Look at us!’ In my opinion this is a real shame because cars like the Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe demonstrate a tantalising development in hybrid engine SUV’s

I totally agree, when we see some of these concept vehicles at shows around the world they look absolutely amazing and it is a shame that the vast majority of them do not make it to the mass market. The fact that some of the technology associated with concept vehicles will make it to the mass market is often overlooked by many people.
