In a move which is perhaps more forward-thinking than many give Honda credit for, the company has today announced a deal with General Motors which will see both companies merging their knowledge and resources looking towards next-generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The companies believe they could have a workable prototype ready for 2020 although there is some scepticism with regards the technology as a whole.
Is Honda again hedging its bets or is it looking to stake the “house” on the next technology after electric vehicles?
