Measure voltage at input of ssr to see if itā€™s within range. Not ove 32 volts.

SSR not needed with DQ charger. I supply an interface to charger white wire.

Yes, you are correct, I should explain how to connect the BMS to charger in manual, please check the updated manual,

The relay has a coil to control the relay open or close, OPEN means charge cut off, and close charge continue. BMS drive the coil with Vin on BMS controller port. If BMS powered by external power supply, the Vin is external power supply output voltage, if BMS powered by battery pack from 8S to 24S, the Vin is battery voltage, take a 16S LiPO battery sample, the Vin is 48V(3V16) to 67.2V(4.216), for 17S to 24S battery, the Vin is 16S battery voltage, so the relay coil voltage must be accordance with Vin, and the coil current should be less than 1A. if charge relay and discharge relay connected to BMS24, the total coil current must be less than 1A.

The current shunt, relay and blue case donā€™t be in contact with any metal.

Before connect the relay to charge or discharge controller, please confirm the coil of relay
voltage. the BMS controller will output Vin to power the coil, if the BMS24 will be powered by
external power supply, Vin is external power supply output voltage, if powered by battery
pack, Vin will be battery pack voltage. If the Vin is not correct on driving coil, please use
voltage regulator to power coil.

Sold the last of my big LTO batteries this morning.
Like to have a Leaf pack if you get a lead on one.
Chevy Volts are common, Leafs not so much.
Would really like to find a 2017 if I could, but 2014-16 is OK.

Troy and i used a reliable junkyardā€¦LDQ or something like that. Ask Troy. Not best customer service but their parts r as described. They often get hybrid and electric packs from totalled cars.

Iā€™ve been getting mine from eBay. I look for $100 w/shipping. If you find more than you need Iā€™m interested in doubling the pack that Iā€™m running now.

Not bothering to hook up the Overcharge and Undercharge wires from the BMS24 after all that. My GEM OEM alarm/warning goes off when I get low. My reprogrammed Zivan cuts the current way back at around 78 or 79 volts and cuts off at 81 volts. Plus I Dash Mounted my BMS24 so I can see what is going on live if I want to. So, I figure why hassle with BMS24 Over and Under wires. However, even with dash mounting the BMS24, the display isnā€™t very bright ESP. IN SUNLIGHT.

They will work. I got a set and sent them back. Not up to specs and sold at new price.
20s is pretty close to a drop in conversion though.
If you buy from that seller, get insurance. He puts them in an undersized flat rate box with no packing.
They will be pretty beat up when you get them.

$300 per KHW is more than I will spend.

A 16kwh salvage Volt battery is about $1600
I just got one on Ebay for $1200 delivered. 25% price of the Bosch

Enough to do 2 or 3 Gems.

Local reputable junkyard is best bet.

I found the limit on my 22 cell battery bank, when it gets to 70V I better charge it. It charges to 89.6V and will run several days (3 or 4 miles a day) before it drops to 83V. After 83V I notice it started dropping a little quicker, and at 76V I have to use the spoof by-pass for the main contractor to pick up. Now that I know my limits I wonā€™t need to find another tow home.
