Hello everyone! I have been reading post on your site as a guest for some time. I was in the market for a golf cart to tow aircraft with and found an old GEM sitting in a back lot and decided I wanted one just to be different! I found a 1999 48v on CL and purchased it Easter Sunday. Everything works except the wipers and it needed a good cleaning. As soon as I got it to the airport, cleaned, lubed and inspected it, mounted a 2" reciever on the front and away I went moving planes. It workes much better then a golf cart and I can run to the store or other hangers with no problem. Everyone loves it so the next step is to put our company logo and paint.
