What is you dream job?
Mine was a stockbroker and I lived that dream for 14 years before I decided to leave the markets and get married - never regretted it and so glad I got to live my dream.
Being an Engineer. Started out as a Machine Repair Apprentice in an Iron Foundry and spent my entire working life in Engineering. I worked for Great people, They sent me all over the world, and they actually paid me for it. Most of the time I couldn’t wait to go to work.
my dream job is to be Superman (not Batman)
Why Superman and not Batman - you did prompt the question lol
Well Superman is better than Batman for many reasons:
‒ Superman is not from planet earth but still though he came here to protect us and fight for us.
‒ Superman is a modest guy, he is very strong and came here and start from bottom: work as journalist and earn his life with dignity (he is not a rich business man)
‒ Batman always fights for his own interests for to protect his business, Superman fights for the good cause like a soldier.
‒ Superman doesn’t need weapons to win a fight and all these gadgets that Batman uses.
‒ You can easily kill Batman in his sleep because without his costume he is a normal guy, Superman can’t kill him with a knife or a gun, his body is solid like a rock.
‒ Superman is an actual superhero with actual superpowers. Batman, in comparison, is just a Billionaire with a hobby.
‒ Superman doesn’t hit girls, while Batman is constantly fighting with Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and others. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but this just isn’t classy.
You see now why Superman is better than Batman :eyebrows:
Well I have to say that was the best answer I have ever seen in my life!
:D:D Lool Thanks BO$$
My full time job as a real estate broker. But, for the father of a ex military buddy, I was a courier back in the 80’s. He owned several businesses in Detroit and was my only client. I made monthly trips to the Bahamas and Switzerland (sp?) with a few trips now and then to Denmark for him and some members of his family.
I was told what line to go through customs at each destination. My clients briefcase was never opened by customs. I delivered the contents to his bank that day. I was never searched in 5-7 years of 10 -12 trips per year.
I had first class VIP treatment at the airlines. Most everybody dressed well on planes back then and drinks and food was included on the plane. Flying was very different back in the 80’s. I carried a piece but never had a problem, hence a need to use it. My girl friend went with me on the good weather trips to Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Plane tickets and hotel was included and I was paid 5K per trip in cash, back when 5K could buy a new car. Them were the days… Nice trips for me and the girl that became my wife.
I got my calling when I was six years old. I decided I wanted to be an artist…either that or a cowboy. I hadn’t heard of Remington or Russell at the time so didn’t think of combining the two professions. I guess I finally became a successful artist in that I eat regular and do art. The problem with my profession is over the years I have not held a regular job which has given me a lot of free time so when I reached retirement age nothing changed except instead of being a young goof off I am now an old goof off.
Now this is a “Dream Job”… Gynecologist’s Assistant:
When I was 18 I went into a job center in downtown Detroit and saw a card advertising for a Gynecologist’s Assistant.
Interested, I went in and asked the clerk for details.
The clerk pulled up the file and read, "The job entails getting the ladies ready for the gynecologist. You have to help the women out of their underwear, lay them down and carefully wash their private regions, then apply shaving foam and gently shave off the hair, then rub in soothing oils so they’re ready for the gynecologist’s examination.
The annual salary is $65,000, and if you are interested you’ll have to go to Sudbury , Ontario ."
“Good grief”, I asked, “is that where the job is?”
“No sir, that’s where the end of the line is right now.”
(I’m still standing in the line, I’m now 75)
Some great jobs said haha
