Over the last few years the frenzy within the electric vehicle market has been that towards sports cars, traditional mass-market vehicles as well as, more recently, family saloons. On the whole the vast majority of automobile manufacturers have veered away from the electric powered van sector but the introduction of the Renault Kangoo Van ZE has been extremely well received and there seems to be a great deal of life in this particular area.
The fact that Renault already has a significant presence within the commercial van sector is obviously be a major help although the truth is the company is looking to expand on this historic success. It will be interesting to see the long-term sales of more environmentally friendly commercial transport vehicles.
