DC vs AC motor

I’ve found a 2007 Zenn 2.22 LX with a DC motor for sale for $6,995 and I really want to take advantage of this opportunity. Does anyone know if the DC motor means that it won’t have the 40 mile range and the possible top speed of 35? How expensive will it be to convert it to an AC motor?

AC motors smaller and just as powerful as DC motors but require more complex circuitry.

I would not recommend tampering with the motor. If it was manufactured as a DC motor, leave it and invest in an AC motor.

In my view dont convert DC to AC motor … find some equally powered AC motors
