While many other well-known car manufacturers have been moving towards the pure electric side of the fence, Honda has for some time been hedging its bets with quality hybrids. The introduction of the Honda CR-Z hybrid has been long awaited and if the early reviews are anything to go by is certainly set to be a relatively good seller.
While the motoring press are currently clamouring for positive news headlines about electric vehicles there is a train of thought which suggest that hybrids are the sensible steppingstone to all electric vehicles in the future. Whether or not the Honda CR-Z hybrid will offer Honda a route to a stronger long-term position in the electric vehicle market remains to be seen.
