Hi! Has anyone splashed a 2013 Dashboard? I’m looking for a carbon fiber one. Or any other carbon parts for my GEM.

I don’t think the market is big enough for a mfg to produce Gem molds and make CF parts.

Ok, what have people done to refurbish the dash? Someone told me they sprayed it with Line X, and another just repainted it.

Grant may have done carbon fiber wrap on some parts.

I have never made a CF dash but other parts.

I was thinking of wrap that simulated carbon fiber. Did you post once?

Well that’s an idea, I’ll have to check with some wrap guys to see if they think that will work with all the corners and angles of the dashboard. I’m thinking they do magic with their heat guns, so it shouldn’t be a big deal.

Hydro Dipping is gonna be your only option for a full wrap. Traditional material is never gonna work. Check out your local Craig’s list and see if anyone in your Aera does Hydro Dipping. My guess your looking at $200+ to dip your dash

And I am curious to see/ know if the dimpled plastic surface of a stock dash can be dipped. Worst case you could sand the dash flat
