I am unfamiliar on how to get to the barrel fuse with the plastic cover on it in the fuse box of my 2006 e4 Gem. Please advise. Thank you
As you noted, there is usually a protective vinyl boot/cup over the holder. Those things go missing all the time. Once removed, you will see the holder. In the center of that is the fiddly bit that has a small screwdriver slot that needs to be pushed in a bit and rotated counter clockwise about 1/4 turn then released.
Don’t force it. The slot gets messed up easily.
