Looking for a 2016+ wiring harness for a project I am working on ![]()
Neighborhood electric vehicles. Chandler, az. 480/331/9703
Have you tried Ghettoass electrical vehicles? Spare parts at 26 cents on the dollar. …
Thank you very much!
I tried calling you a few times before I posted …
It’s been a while. Maybe they got raided. I mean went out of business
Strange request. Can you share.
Do you want help completing the 72v conversion.
The botched conversion must have messed up the 12v system. That’s what kills the dash. I can repair dash in most cases.
Complete conversion need Gen4 controller. <$500, dc-dc wide range input. ~$200. And dq or other charger to match battery. Dq can do 98v max.
Use a DQ dci charger to replace both converter and charger. ~$750
Dual throttle can be troublesome in some cases, due to the tight fault tolerance. I can also do a fs1 in hardware, triggered from throttle low side. ,5v to 2.5v,
I got all the 12v stuff working again! Lights, horn, windshield wiper, speedo etc! I am debating a 72v upgrade you have time to jump on a quick call ?
Feel free to text me if eaiser: 415.754.9597
See pm. Sorry I can’t do phone. Byron likes to chat and knows pretty much everything I do +.
You need 72v charger, wide range dc-dc converter, and of course new controller. That’s about it.
Dci charger can do both, charger and 12v.
Thanks who is Byron not sure if I met him yet. Also do you think 72v is worth the upgrade? Was thinking about using this: 72-Volt / 105-AH Professional kit "Power" - Bolt Energy USA
Byron= @AssyRequired
If you have deep pockets. I don’t know the cost of Bolt products. I do notice that they seem to be only 23s, rather than full voltage.
You can diy a 110ah 88v battery for <$2,000. Much less after you learn to do it totally by yourself.
If you want high performance, hv is the best bang for the buck. You can do the controller swap, then swap batteries anytime. The 80v controller operates from 40v to over 100v.
Hes like the John Wick of Gem electronics. His focus and drive on these electronics issues is pretty much unmatched.
So. yes, AssyRequired is the guy you send to go kill the boogeyman in your control electronics.
I am traveling a bit this weekend.
Coverage and monitoring here will be spotty.
As is my advice.
My expertise is very limited with the Gen4(?) 2016+ cars tho. I’m scared of those.
Michael M. aka @LithiumGods has done extensive testing. He may also have a high performance battery for you.
You can run a 60v battery with oem charger and converter. Performance is much improved. So says mm.
Stay away from low voltage lithium (Bolt) if you want high performance. Even though I have sold high capacity 12s lith-ion batteries. They were for long range at 25mph.
it everything is working, a 64v lithium upgrade will work with your reprogrammed charger and all dash functions still work. Also I can reprogram your controller for much better acceleration, 1/2 price with battery. I have a few before and after videos if interested
That would be great. any videos you can send would be greatly appreciated!
And if things are not working, his 64v battery will work with my jail broke controller to 35mph.
Controller by passes all Polaris proprietary parts, that may be bad, or just wonky..
