Hey Have you thought about taking a trunk from a 2000+ Gem and adapting it to your 2016. The classic gem trunks are very available and cost around $200. The early gem trunks bit smaller and IMO look better the. The 2016 trunks when fitted correctly. I saw back when IMS was in business they were putting the smaller trunks on the Newer gems.

Hi, curious if you had any pics or details about putting the older GEM Trunk Back on the newer body GEMs.
I just bought a 2016 E4 and it doesnt have the trunk and I would love to have one. I’m open to buying the older version and making that work if it in fact works and looks nice.
