Netherlands looking to ban non-electric cars by 2025

A move to ban the sale of non-electric cars by 2025 in the Netherlands has passed its first obstacle in the lower house of the Dutch Parliament. This is a monumental aspiration by the Netherlands authorities as hybrids will also be banned from 2025.

Is it fair, and feasible, to pass a law that all vehicles sold after 2025 must be electric cars?

It will take a lot more governments to follow suit before this has any chance of being a success. However, step in the right direction!
