There has been speculation that the US government is considering cutting electric vehicle subsidies. While we always knew this was going to happen at some point, is it time to cut electric vehicle subsidies and let the market stand on its own 2 feet?
On one hand the US government is still making significant noise about climate change, and the role which governments around the world have to play, but on the other it is not dismissing a potential reduction in electric vehicle subsidies. Do these two policies work against each other? Has the US government given the electric vehicle market enough of a kickstart?
