2 1/2 weeks and no problems!

2.5 weeks and no issues,… Is the future of electric vehicles getting brighter?? So, after sending the wife for more bandaids, I decide to check acid levels and check for corrosion. The gallon of dielectric grease seems to be helping the corrosion issue. Anyway I cleaned some connections and replaced a terminal end that was weak. Having noticed a lack of brightness on the head lights, I decided to check battery voltages. Here’s what I found. Zivan charger on and charging (solid red light) B1-16.4V… B2-15.1V… B3-15.1V… B4-15.2V… B5-15.0V… B6-15.2V… Charger off with yellow light (80-90 percent charged) B1-13.8V…B2-13.5V…B3-13.5V…B4-12.5V…B5-13.6V…B6-13.6V… B1 Is one year old, B2 thru 6 are almost three years old. All are trojan model 1275. So… B1 is getting an extra volt when being charged. B4 is putting out 1 volt less than the rest. Once the pack is fully charged , I will re test. A friend of mine suggested rotating the batteries and I’ve read where the middle two batteries can be problem children. Would that help? As far as B4 goes, there is a factory orange cable going from B4+ Into the harness and I assume finally making it’s way to B5-. Is this cable direct or does it go through the controller for turf mode or something else?

Dialectric grease by the tub… Not just for date night anymore.

LOL :joy: you must have been popular in high school…
