# Why Can't We Have Nice Things?

Click on Home & predictions of doom & hacking appear?  
So here the "home page is reached by clicking on the word forum

I saw vague mumbling about no posting links to things like manuals, schematics for fear of legal retribution  
Is there no work around?  
I’m on Modern Vespa Forum, their solution is a by invite only google spread sheet, with links or actual documents administered by one of the moderators  
Permission is granted by sending a pm to the member in charge
