# Volkswagen looking for electric car partners

While Volkswagen is under extreme pressure at the moment in light of various emission scandals it seems the company does have plans for the electric car market in the longer term. Perhaps as a way to overcome the recent mistrust of the company it looks as though Volkswagen will be partnering with other automobile and technology companies to enhance and expand it electric car portfolio. However, will motorists ever trust Volkswagen again?
