Great conversation. I’m glad to see so many knowledgeable and experienced people on this site. I have a 2002 2-seater that ran when I got it, but haven’t had a chance to do much with it. I’m finishing up an old 6-seat CC. Actually, I’m getting ready to build a LiPo battery for it. U have all of the parts to build now. If it works and I can get the Gem to run well, I may convert it as well. It’s a 72v so it will probably take 2 batteries. I really want that Gem for sale in VA, but the boss is objecting furiously.
