I am very interested in GM’s micro-car entry the Spark. It looks like the Nissan Leaf will now have direct competition. I will have to compare these two some more. The late 2013 debute will only be in limited quantities and only in California & Oregon. I hope it makes it to all 50 states soon.

I can’t help but not get excited about vehicles with such limited production runs. Same with the Honda Fit EV, the Toyota Rav 4 EV and others - when I don’t live in California, I’ll probably never see these.
However, Chevy is saying it’s not a compliance car and they will offer it nation wide after an initial release period. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s true or not!
