@MikeKC can I solder to the tabs that go to the flex pcb up the side? @Inwo I think they are aluminum so soldering would be difficult. Maybe pop-vivit or drill a hole and thread a wire thru and solder the wire to the wire after twisting it tight? No sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish. What I did was attach at each cell location (tab) of the aluminum strips with copper wire and ran those to my BMS. ---

How did you connect them? I thought maybe they were zinc and you just soldered the balance wires the the original location. Did you solder on the flex board? Correct, if you pull the blue foam out you will find that there is a gap where the strip is factory welded to the cell. I wrapped the end of BMS lead around the flex strip, twisted it tight, soldered it and put hot glue over the top. I ran each lead back down the battery to the BMS. Basically recreating the aluminum strip with wire. ---

These batteries are so frikin awesome - I never want to own another car without one… Great work Dave this could make them usable in Classics and new generation!! ---

All I have is 48v cars right now. This one is for sale. $3,000 as shown. Making some 14s next, for new Polaris gems and rangers… Glad to help someone build their own. Be prepared for a couple weeks of stress. ---
