# Tesla vs BMW, Who's making a Better EV?

Tesla and BMW have been having a bit of a back and forth. Anyone have thoughts about it?

Having owned 3 BMW’s myself and having 2 others in my immediate family over the past ten years my money is on Tesla!

BMW still has a very good worldwide image. They might suprise us in the near future with i8 sales, I don’t know. All I can say is that Tesla has put a great EV on the road and has a massive headstart upon BMW.

I’m glad the Model S has been called the car of the year by a number of big carmagazines.

They’re totally different cars. One has hundreds of years of fine tuning and manufacturing and is made to race while the other is only 10 years old and was made for a whole different purpose. It’s like comparing apples to oranges.

In case of electric vehicles BMW brand is more suitable than others. Personally I have been a huge fan of electric vehicles; and no doubt BMW provides best electric car models.
