# Source of newbie info?

Looking for a good source of info for a beginner. Books, websites, etc. I hate to start out in a project like this without having a good working knowledge of what I’m about to face. You guys are waaaayyyy beyond my knowledge and I at least want to be able to ask informed questions.

Hey, same with me! I’ve found [this website](http://www.electric-cars-are-for-girls.com/build-your-own.html) to be helpful, and [this one](http://www.electroauto.com/catalog/ackits.shtml#ac914) has a lot of different kits. May I ask what kind of conversion are you hoping to do?
