In what is certainly a first in the world of electric vehicles, the Scottish government has today announced plans to offer interest-free loans for those looking to acquire electric cars. Not a bad idea but perhaps more should be spent on recharging networks first? ---

There is no substance to this - £2.5m is hopeless
