# Ride 4 Fun Black Motor Issues

Bought an 02 e4…sole reason was all the Ride4Fun upgrades.  
Wasn’t getting the performance I thought it should. Called Ride4Fun and was told,“Oh the black motor, yeah, we switched those out. We had a lot of problems with those.”  
They were unwilling to replace mine due to be purchased 4 years ago…  
So wondering if anyone had any luck getting this motor fixed…

The Black motors were from a Company called Advanced Motors. Perhaps track them down and see if Advanced can help you. Sorry to hear your motor is failing. They sold me a Black motor it works for about 1 week. They took it back and gave me my $ back. That was the best thing. By by R4F

Bought a 02 e4 for parts…took the 5hp engine from it and put it mine. Took the R4F too a local shop, crossing my fingers that they can save it. We’ll see

Are you parting out the rest of it? I need A drivers side fender and mud guard. As well as a rear window.
