# Remove steering wheel

Need to remove the steering wheel. I found a post from 2013 which indicated a need a steering wheel puller.  
Don’t really see that in my future…so…had anyone come up with a “non-puller” solution.  
Also, to remove the cap do you just pull it off.

Cover has 2 or 3 screws. Back off nut, grab each side of wheel and pull up HARD while wiggling left to right. If still stuck, screw nut flush with top of shaft and have an assistant rap the top of shaft HARD with heavy hammer, while you pull HARD on wheel.
