# Regenerative braking at low speeds

My gem doesn’t do any regenerative braking till it hits 20 mph. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my controller?

Seems that regen braking on the old GEMs is marginal at best. I’ve spent hours adjusting the parameters on the T2 in my 2002, never really got anywhere with it.
