# Nissan looks to replicate the award-winning Renault Twizy

They say that imitation is in many ways the ultimate compliment, well Renault should be sitting pretty at the moment with news that Nissan is looking to bring out its own version and own style of the ever popular Renault Twizy electric vehicle. Initially, many years ago, electric vehicles were quirky, eye-catching and very different but then electric vehicle manufacturers decided to make them more alike with their gasoline counterparts. However, the Renault Twizy is certainly a throwback to the early days!

We look forward to hearing more details of Nissan’s bid to break into the Renault Twizy market and can only imagine what kind of competition this will inspire.
