# New FLAs, rapid drain. frustrated

We recently replaced our “old” FLAs (new in March) because of rapid battery drain, as in dropping 10% or so a mile (and then the GF leaving it unplugged for a month afterward) .
Fast forward to today, brand new, fully charged batteries. I took the car out for the first time and literally went around the block (1700’) and saw the batteries drop to 98%. Getting frustrated with the battery situation. Battery charger set to 3.5A. I would assume that 2% for this distance is not normal. What’s going on?
