Hi Everyone, I’m planning to make a ebike from scratch, more focused on acceleration and top speed instead of range.
Decide to go with a mountain bike chassis and a Hub motor rated 48V 1.5-2Kw and battery of 3.3Kwh.
As the Li ion are expensive I thought on making Hybrid battery bank with LifeP04 and supercapacitor.
If anyone has done a battery bank with super caps please help me.

Super caps can be 20 times the cost and 40 times the weight of lithium batteries.
That and being able to deliver only 25% of stored energy to a load before reaching 75% voltage, makes them unpractical for many applications.
