# Michelin confirmed as Formula E tyre supplier

There were rumours that Michelin was looking to get back into F1 just a couple of years ago but was beaten to the punch by Pirelli . However, the well known tyre manufacturer has been appointed official supplier for Formula E.

This is all starting to come together now.
