# Max Range Possible for E4

I’m renting my 2002 Gem E4. I want to maximize range. Don’t care about performance. Need to upgrade to Lithium Ion.

Please advise on best batteries and approach.

That is my listing, yes.  
I can sell raw batteries, less bms, at low cost for diy’ers.  
Includes ideas on balance lead connection, or some prep ideas.  
At one time, I sold them drop-in ready, but shipping prepped batteries is not safe.  
Not difficult to add bms, but time consuming.
