Magic Magnet review thread "price increase"

Thank you, there are members who can’t get more speed from their T3 cars.
I’m sure they will appreciate your efforts.

Sorry everyone been insanely busy and the amount of time I touched the GEM was to drive it and did not pull the data yet. Hoping to do so later tonight or tomorrow. I really need to quit my day job so I can mess with this stuff more.

I spent a whole day playing with my T3. End result was 32 MPH with a 2 pole magnet and Max armature setting at 200. With armature setting at 170 I got 29 MPH with armature setting at 255 I got 29 MPH.

Note: I tried to set Gear ratio to 12.44 - no go, got the wrench. Tried to set tire size to 86 - no go , got the wrench.

Note the statement 2 POLE MAGNET I tried removing magnet poles down to 4. NADA. Finally cut magnet down to 2 poles and that finally made the display read half speed and got me to 32 MPH.

Ended up with stock Magnet “Over Speed” setting at 255, Reads 27 MPH and a little over 30 GPS. With 22 inch tires. I can live with that.

Rodney

Sorry for the delay I went ahead tonight and played around with more settings getting top speed from 37 to 40 based on the radar sign at the end of my street  I will not keep these settings as hill climbing ability suffered so I will go back to the settings I was running before tonight and possibly a little less speed in favor of more torque for the hill climbing.

Doesn’t make sense to me yet!

Ok GREAT BUT:

Dave #7 should be 4 in 37 and 1 in 40 - #17 should be 5 in both - #24 should be 1 in both

Dont understand #12 0 in 37MPH is this a missprint?

Most significant item is Rolling Radius. I tried to change mine and got a wrench. Will try again today.

Check it again.

T3 ?
Minimum field?

If it turns out wrong, I’ll delete.
Seems they use T4 definitions.

Can someone simplify this into the actual function changes that increase speed.
Then post in T3 thread.

I have a 2011 e6 that reads on the speedometer that it’s going 26 but it’s only going 22. I’d like to get it to st least 25.

I have sentry software - are there any settings you would change?

If the magnets work on e6 I’d like to purchase

QUOTE=Inwo;29074]Only have a half dozen in the field.

Reviews will help me improve.

Received this today from a member.

“I just installed it in my brother-in-laws Club Car with the early GE IQ motor, that would require the magnet to be removed vs the newer style that just has two screws and is an easy change. He had an increase of 5 mph with the non adjustable one.”

Me (model 1/2)[/QUOTE]

I think these correct speedometer.

Won’t need MM for 25mph.

I would like to go faster than 25 if possible- would MM add 3-5 mph do you think?

If you do speedometer correction, so reading 20 is 25, then 25 will be 30.
If not, that’s what MM can do.

Thanks much! Speed is up to 28, does a higher gear ratio (bigger number) translate to higher speed compared to speedometer speed? What’s the max speed you think I can get with 14 wheels on a 2011 E6 w 8volt batteries without risking any controller or motor damage?

do you have the 5hp motor or the 7hp ?

I have 7.0 motor
