# I want an electric bike

any ideas for motors dc dc converters or batteries? cus i have know idea where to start but i have a bike that i can convert.

do some reading on the forum and you should be able to find some good projects started on here with much of the info you are looking for.

I used the motor, controller, and batteries from a scooter and motorized a small folding Razor bike. It had alot of power and did 20mph. About 2hrs TOPS run time if I behave and kept the 50 watt headlight turned off. =)
