Hi all. New to the forum. Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for a 2002 GEM car?

Thanks for the help.

What is your email address?

Also- does your car have the DC Converter wiring update?

I have a receipt for a converter recall, so I assume the wiring has been done.

What initiated the need for a schematic is a failed ignition switch. Wheni found out how expensive they are for just a simple keyed switch, I figured I would just install a simple golf cart style switch. I would like to have a schematic for future reference. I found that it is a 2000, not a 2002. Pretty much the same as far as I can tell.

You just have to change the wire ends to spade connectors.

No need to assume, Have a look.
Down low, on the right side of dash- If you see a black box w/fins → You win!

Otherwise you might see an open faced converter board.

Thats the one! I put one of those in a 2015 GEM where I used to work. Last I heard, the original batteries were still in both of those carts they have. Now the em1400’s, those batteries failed yearly until we converted them to lithium. Lost over 500 lbs. per cart if I remember correctly.

Yep, the finned one is there. I win! Thanks

Just bought this last year, had to replace the batteries right away(priced accordingly). Haven’t had much of a chance to get familiar with it, other than keeping the batteries charged.

For you and anyone else coming here from internet search: I downloaded the wiring diagram from [here](https://nev-accessories.com/gem-faqs/?srsltid=AfmBOopXYFh7b0gmMVt66-jmMRKjKsWTqOhJfXZuzf65QBEtVNofUucD) and used Claude to enhance/clean it up so all the labels and numbers are readable.

.png below. I also have svg if anyone wants it, but forum won’t let me upload that.
