# Gem Wiper Motor Replacement?

My 96 Trans2 (pre GEM car) wiper motor is shot. Fuse is fine. Wiring is fine. Took motor apart cleaned, etc. and tested. It has to be replaced. My question is: Do I have to spend $200 for a “GEM” motor or can I buy a compatible auto wiper motor that I can buy on Amazon for $40-$50?

Any suggestions? Does anyone have one for sale that would work?

Look at a JC Whitney catalog. Believe that is where alot of the trans2 parts came from.

Ebay I believe they were all 12 volt motors.
