# GEM insurance in Florida

Hello fellow Florida GEM drivers.

I recently attempted to insure my 2018 GEM in Florida. Most companies I contacted did not insure LSVs. The ones that did quoted me numbers that were very nearly the same as my automobiles. We live in a retirement community and use our GEM exactly like the golf carts. We do not drive on the road except as all golf carts are allowed. Any ideas on how to save some money? Thank you.
