# GEM Code -41 / COLD

Hello, looking for help. Just put new (fully charged) batteries in my 04. I get a code -41 (overheated motor controller), but the GEM hasn’t run in a couple years. It has been left outside for some.
My motor doesn’t have the thermal temp plug on it if that helps.
I have an other GEM with the 7.5hp motor (motor sputters) that I can use to try parts if need be.

I’ve gotten a bunch of emails trying to sell me this part or that part but have yet to have anyone make a wise suggestion.
