# GEM 2005 Master Cylinder Replacement or Rebuild Kit

I’ve been looking to replace my master cylinder. It went out due to bad rear brakes causing it to dry out.

Looking for a replacement and unable to find one. Based on the acdelco part number to NAPA and the nearest golf cart shop on Lodi, CA. Also Nev Accessories doesn’t carry that year.

Anyone find a direct replacement or a rebuild kit for the 2005 and up? Looks like theres 2 sensor connectors on them. One for the cylinder and one for the reservoir.

You can take these apart and hone out the interior bore. Worked on my 2000 E 825

I think the seals and cup are dried out. The bore looks good.

Joe, how did you repair the master cylinder? Where did you find parts?
