is the 7hp motor have the same rpm spec as the 5hp ?

Yes both are 4100
The 7 will pull more tire size or a better gear ratio.

10 , but you could even run the 8.x ratio.
just bought a 10.x yesterday . going to run it with my 5hp setup . i’m curious with the weight reduction of lithium and the low sag , if well still accelerate as hard .

My stock GEM eS with factory 7hp, no controller mods, tall tires and a 6:1 gear tops out at 40mph and still spins the tires.

Talk to me about 6 to 1 gears. I want to build a “Low Rider” And 6 to 1 gears would be an advantage. Where, who from, how much and how noisy?

I bought the 6:1 gears from Marlon several years ago (and he seems to have disappeared). I think I paid about $350 for gears, bearings, seals. There’s a little whine at very low speed when cold, otherwise totally quiet.
