# Ge code 66 failure

What motor fault/s cause a code 66 failure in a GE T4?

Usually a shored field transistor. Easy fix. Both forward and reverse faults?

If it’s in the motor, ground fault or field to armature fault.  
F1 And F2 shorted.  
Does fault persist with field disconnected?

Is this related to lg’s -42?

Field is open cant clear just got it back from FSIP

That may be the problem.  
Can you try a different controller?
